About DOS Times

The DOS Times is a pre-eminent ophthalmological publication, an official bulletin of the Delhi Ophthalmological Society. The magazine will hitherto be released once in two months (six issues in a year: July - August, September - October, November - December, January - February, March - April, May - June). It will be distributed to all members of DOS all over India. The Society releases three regular issues in a year and three national issues which are distributed to all the society members. The publication is also available in various libraries in medical institutes for the benefit of students and ophthalmologists.

The DOS Times has now been made into bulletin magazine covering all important & latest aspects of ophthalmology catering to the needs of all. It comprises of featuring section in all subspecialities of ophthalmology. Other sections include Snapshot, Innovations, Practice Requisites, Monthly Meeting Korner, DOS Quiz, Crossword, Quick Picks, and News Watch. The articles undergo a thorough review by the editorial board before publication to avoid dissemination of wrong information. The articles are easy to read, concise and simple to understand and are of great help to students as well as ophthalmologists alike.

DOS Times entered cyberspace in 1998 and has been freely available on the internet to the Society members. It includes all the articles published in the past ten years which can be downloaded and saved for reading anytime. Your subscription to DOS Times will keep you updated with the latest developments and ongoing research in the field of ophthalmology which will be of importance in your day to day professional experience.

It also has a search engine by which you can search articles by entering relevant key words or author’s name.

This is to inform you that the writ petitions filed by DOS regarding TPA and cashless facility was heard in the Hon'ble High Court of Delhi on 24th Oct 2019. The next date of hearing is listed on 24th Dec 2019. The stay order will continue.
